Nish Laszczuk
Nish is a Registered Social Worker and therapist with clinical experience since 2016.
Her passion for counselling began in her teenage years, when she developed a fascination with psychology and the workings of the human brain. As she pursued her studies, Nish’s focus evolved from biology to therapeutic practice, where she discovered her true calling—helping people through meaningful, evidence-based therapy. This realization led her to the field of social work, where she could combine scientific understanding with compassionate care.
Nish holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto, where she specialized in mental health. During her graduate training, she completed clinical placements at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), gaining valuable experience in the assessment and treatment of complex mental health conditions.
Since then, Nish has worked in both community and hospital settings, including CAMH, with a particular focus on mood and anxiety disorders. She has extensive experience treating depression, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, specific phobias, and health anxiety.
Nish is registered and in good standing with both the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the British Columbia College of Social Workers. She has been working with Midtown Legal since 2023.
